Abraham Lawrence married Alice Jones on the 1st September 1870.
Abraham had arrived in England from Jamaica, sometime leading up to this, however we have no documentary evidence of precisely when. The 1871 Census shows Alice living on her own at 125 Majer St, Kirkdale. The occupation states "Mariner's Wife" suggesting Abraham was away at sea when the record was taken.
The records show Abraham and Alice had thirteen children together in Liverpool.
In 1896 Alice sadly passed away at the age of 43.
In October 1901, Abraham married Margaret Carr . They had two daughters together.
Abraham passed away in 1914 and Margaret passed away in 1940.
