Harry Dwaney Quarless
Harry Dwaney Quarless was born on the 14th October 1909 to John Isiah Quarless and Elizabeth Quarless (neé Lawrence).
In 1929 Harry married May Austin. They lived at 12 Clarence Street.
In 1930, a shipping record shows Harry setting off to sea on a trip to Hamburg, Germany with his father John also aboard.
In 1938 the Kelly's directory shows Harry followed in his father's footsteps becoming a ship's steward.
In the 1939 register, Harry is not located in Liverpool but at Norton Camp army base near Taunton in Somerset. Here he served as a cook with the 222nd Searchlight Training regiment.
After the war, Harry and May moved to Mary Ann Street. They settled in Liverpool and went on to have children.
Harry sadly died at age 55 on 22nd February 1965.
